  • Armorik Classic 700ml Bottle

Warenghem distillery is located in Lannion in the north of Brittany. Originally the company produced a herbal elixir (still available today) then moved on to fruit liqueurs. They began making blended whiskeys in 1987 and then tackled the single malt category in 1998, an unusual move. It has paid off in spades as they've won several awards in a short time. The cornerstone of the range, Armorik Classic, brings together the best from the warehouse in a marriage of sherry and bourbon casks of differ

  • Kingsbarns Balcomie 700ml

Here we have Balcomie, a sherried release from Kingsbarns distilled with locally-grown Fife barley. It was matured exclusively in American oak butts that previously held Oloroso sherry, which is rather unusual seeing as sherry is usually held in European oak. Richer, spicy notes from the sherry balance the sweeter, tropical notes from the oak. Top stuff from the Lowland distillery!

  • Milk & Honey Classic 700ml

Milk & Honey is Israel's first single malt distillery, operating since 2014 in the south of Tel Aviv. All of the distillery’s products are Kosher. The Classic is made using the finest ex-bourbon casks and special red-wine STR casks, giving it a light, balanced character. Tasting note: Wizz Fizz confectionary, light cocoa and a little lemon on the nose. A light to medium bodied whisky offering a low-key malty burst followed by hints of dried grass, peppercorns and a spicy, gently bitter finish.

  • Glenturret Triple Wood 700ml

The Glenturret Triple Wood Edition features unpeated spirit exclusively matured in three distinctive wood types, American oak ex-sherry, European oak ex-sherry and American oak ex-bourbon casks. This expression delivers punchy citrus and boiled sweet aromas and eventually reveals intense toffee apple, orange peel and complex oak notes on the palate.

  • Glenturret Peat Smoked 700ml

Distillery records show Glenturret used peat dug from Octhertye Estate in the early 1800s. The present day set up permits the production of peated and non-peated spirit at different times of the year from the same small stills. This edition comes bottled at a higher than usual strength of 50% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered. Other reviews... I thought the earlier, pre-Lalique batches had been pretty good (WF 80-ish) but let's see… Colour: light gold. Nose: much rounder, easier, more fruit-coated,

  • Elements of Islay Peat 500ml

A new ongoing release from Speciality Drinks that blends malt whiskies from a handful of distilleries across Islay. Great straight up, Full Proof is also ideal for classic cocktails that demand a big flavourful whisky base. Tasting note: Pale straw / water like hue. Nosing over 3-4 minutes runs the gamut of all things peaty. Dark chocolate, then cool mint-fresh, peppery whiffs of kipper / kelp / seashore; damp terracotta and threads of Crunchie bar in the later stages, finally eclipsed by earth
