Sunday Speakeasy with The Specialties

Sydney band The Specialties are coming to Bartholomew’s for Sunday Speakeasy! This 5-piece band is headlined by the award winning saxophonist, Wayne Rigby, who has played over 40 music festivals across Australia .

The blues, jazz and soul band from the inner west of Sydney recently received 5 nominations from the Sydney Blues Society 2023 Blues Awards.

We are very lucky to have them performing this one-off appearance as they pass through Newcastle on their way back from the House of Blues event in Coffs Harbour.

The Specialties are Shannon Carswell on vocals, Shawn Supra on double bass. Nic Lewis on lead guitar, Willem Van Ekert on drums and Wayne Rigby on saxophone and flute.
