Sweetest Little Sideshow is a seductive new evolution of Candyland After Dark, created especially as a Fringe-inspired opener — where polished luxury collides with playful mischief.

Presented by the team behind Three Rings Aerial & Circus Arts, this reimagined show returns to Bartholomew’s Newcastle with a slightly naughtier edge and a fresh sideshow twist. Expect a curated blend of circus, cabaret and burlesque, where glamour and grit sit side by side.

This time, the focus shifts from traditional aerial spectacle to a more intimate, immersive experience — roaming performers, fire and sparks, ground-based circus, and unexpected moments unfolding all around you. You’ll still recognise favourite performers from Le Carnivale and Candyland past, but in a format that feels looser, closer, and just a little more dangerous.
