To close this chapter of his time at Bartholomew’s, we invite you to celebrate the final service of Head Chef Anton Hirst, before he ventures to the UK to further expand his repertoire.
Anton began at Bartholomew’s five years ago as a bright-eyed, bushy-tailed first-year apprentice. He steadily worked his way through the ranks — from washing dishes and preparing function canapés to becoming Head Chef halfway through his apprenticeship.
Anton has been the creative force behind our monthly food specials, seasonal menus, and function offerings, and he will be deeply missed.
For his final service, Anton has crafted a four-course degustation experience focused on creativity and sustainability. Curated with minimal waste in mind, his attention to detail and thoughtful approach are evident in every course. Anton’s Crescendo here in Newcastle reflects his growth as a Chef and his journey through the evolving creative landscape of hospitality.
